$29,500 in DeLong Co. Scholarships Awarded

Press Releases

We are pleased to announce 17 graduates have been granted scholarships totaling $29,500 for 2021. These outstanding students showed exceptional work ethic in their academics and extracurricular activities and were also selected based on essays about their educational goals.

Our scholarship program has been granting awards to local students for over 20 years. The program began as a DeLong family scholarship, but it’s since evolved to become a significant part of our community giving. Over the last 10 years we’ve been excited to grant over $110,000 in awards to 82 graduates from the locations where we have operations.

Previously, recipients had to be pursuing agricultural majors, but the program is now open to students pursuing any field of study at any college or technical school. Students who are children or grandchildren of DeLong Co. customers or employees are eligible to apply each winter.
