We are pleased to announce 33 graduates have been granted DeLong scholarships totaling $51,000 for 2022. These students showed exceptional achievement in both academics and extracurricular activities and were also selected based on essays about their career plans.
Over the last 11 years, the DeLong scholarship program has granted 115 local students scholarships totaling $160,000. Giving back through educational programs and scholarships has become a key part of our community giving. Our scholarship program is open to any graduating high school student who is a child or grandchild of DeLong Co. customers and employees. Applications are available each fall at delongcompany.com.
The 2022 DeLong Co. scholarship recipients are:
Jordyn Block – Jordyn is a graduate of Sycamore High School from Sycamore, IL. She plans to study animal nutrition at Kansas State.
Lauren Bounds – Lauren is a graduate of Morris Community High School from Morris, IL. She plans to study psychology.
Kimberly Brewer – Kimberly is a graduate of Clinton High School from Clinton, WI. She plans to study the farm operations ag maintenance.
Caden Broege – Caden is a graduate of Clinton High School from Clinton, WI. He plans to attend a short course ag tech program.
Baylin Crull – Baylin is a graduate of Evansville School from Evansville, WI. He plans to study ag business at UW-Platteville.
Nathan Fisk – Nathan is a graduate of Evansville High School from Evansville, WI. He plans to pursue a career as a lineman and attend Blackhawk Technical School.
Emma Friedlund – Emma is a graduate of DeKalb High School from DeKalb, IL. She plans to study business at North Central College Naperville.
Kjersten Friestad – Kjersten is a graduate of Newark High School from Newark, IL. She plans to study elementary education at Joliet Junior College.
Rion Hall – Rion is a graduate of Mayville High School from Neosho, WI. She plans to study radiography at Moraine Park Tech College.
Emily Hazzard – Emily is a graduate of Orangeville High School from Orangeville, IL. She plans to study financial management from Drake University.
Jack Heinberg – Jack is a graduate of Marengo High School from Marengo, IL. He plans to study engineering and exercise science at Wartburg College.
Jase Henschler – Jase is a graduate of Clinton High School from Beloit, WI. He plans to study animal science at UW-Platteville.
Taylor Himebauch – Taylor a graduate of Waterford Union High School from East Troy, WI. She plans to study animal science at UW-Platteville.
Anna Koelher – Anna is a graduate of Jefferson High School from Jefferson, WI. She plans to study ag business and agronomy at Iowa State University.
Emma Lippens – Emma is a graduate of Janesville Parker High School from Janesville, WI. She plans to study nursing at Carthage College.
Addison Mass – Addison is a graduate of Johnsburg High School from Ringwood, IL. She plans to study financial planning at the University of Charleston.
Catherine McCray – Catherine is a graduate of Winnebago High School from Rockford, IL. She plans to study animal science at IL State University.
Mallory Miller – Mallory is a graduate of Evansville High School from Janesville, WI. She plans to study radiography at Blackhawk Technical College.
Shayla Mullooly – Shayla is a graduate of Clinton High School from Clinton, WI. She plans to study physical therapy at Blackhawk Technical College.
Tyler Neis – Tyler is a graduate of Eudora High School from Eudora, KS. He plans to study business at Baker University.
Izzy Raes – Izzy is a graduate of Midlakes High School from Phelps, NY. She plans to study dairy production at SUNY Cobleskill.
Devon Reed – Devon is a graduate of Milton High School from Milton, WI. He plans to study ag equipment technology at Madison Area Technical College.
Jackson Repaal – Jackson is a graduate of Clinton High School from Clinton, WI. He plans to study cybersecurity at UW-Whitewater.
Morgan Richardson – Morgan is a graduate of North Boone High School from Capron, IL. She plans to study animal science and vet medicine at Blackhawk East College.
Calvin Rodgers – Calvin is a graduate of Bloomfield High School from Bloomfield, NY. He plans to study physical education at SUNY Broome.
Patrick Schork – Patrick is a graduate of Janesville Craig High School from Janesville, WI. He plans to study finance at St. Mary’s Winona.
Adam Schultz – Adam is a graduate of Marion Sr High School from Marion, NY. He plans to study ag business at SUNY Cobleskill.
