We care about the communities where our employees and customers live and work, and we are committed to supporting our food pantries that provide help where it’s needed most. Last year, that meant increasing our donations within every community where we have DeLong Co. facilities and supporting pantries to help keep families fed.
During the 2019 holiday season, we reached out to pantries to send our support. When COVID19 became the leading crisis of 2020, we doubled down on our efforts in order to help communities struggling with food scarcity. This combined effort resulted in granting $18,500 that assisted 20 food pantries within 27 different communities. While food pantry donations are just one part of our charitable giving mission and we are pleased with how our contributions have grown, it is important that we keep doing better.
